The description isn't lying. It's definitely a mood booster for me and helps calm me. It pairs perfectly with a wool sweater layered with a waxed cotton jacket. A perfect winter scent. The only downside is that due to the nature of the style, it really doesn't feel right to wear it in any form of warm weather.
