I only see one improvement

Best bag I own after I modified it! Your strap had to go. I attached three metal loops in a triangular formation that way I can add my own strap of choice which happens to be leather and it’s suitable for lefties and righties! AND!… The whole darn thing is smell proof waterproof low profile. Perfect for every day or that bug out bag.?…
