Numbered Roses

This painting was a fun project. Very happy with the finished piece. Some tips to share. When you dip brush in water to clean between colors be sure its dry before going to next one. Otherwise it will thin paint and coverage not good. You want the full thickness so you won’t have to touchup again. I suggest buying some, Royal & Langnickle brushes. Those provided are ok but not as good as these. They aren’t expensive, make big difference in work. A fine point, angle, an straight edge all you need. Fyi, bought frame at HobbyLobby. White plaster that I painted over in Antigue White then added dry brush strokes of gold to edges. Have Fun.

Paint is too thick and canvas it too coarse so the paint has to be scrubbed in and you can’t get smooth line
