Pontoon Dog Ramp

Ladder is of good quality, was shipped the wrong ladder model but they quickly sent out the correct one. My lab is 112lbs and holds him well. My only issue is the quick release pins can and will be dropped into the lake. So I used safety wire and attached it to the ladder. FYI I'm not sure it's an option to order extra hardware. YOU WILL definitely need it. So get it ahead of time. It's great to be able to fold and disassemble for moving the boat or storage. But I guarantee you will drop, lose or misplaced something. It takes 10 different fasteners to stow and or deploy the ladder. If you drop one your dead in the water. So just FYI get extra hardware kit!! The customer service was phenomenal! Product seams like good quality. My lab took right to it. I do wish it had one more step. But it works as designed. Thanks water dog.

It's works good but I didn't think that you needed to drill holes into the deck. I also thought it came with the carry bag.

For the price i was hoping this ladder would be built more sturdy its a bit flimsy. The directions was awful but with an email they did help. If you have 27' pontoons it doesnt fit quite right because the holes provided you need if you use those holes you cannot use the lock pins I did manage to use one lower hole but it leaves the ladder higher up which makes it not as sturdy and the ladder steeper. My dog kip is 90.00 lbs. I also had to replace all harware because they use nylon locking nuts so if you have to keep adjusting ladder they eventually lock in place and damage the aluminum track . I had to take whole thing apart , slide out of track and break the nuts off with force. Then going to hardware store to replace broken hardware. Also why they wouldnt provide something like a rope to pick up ladder i dont know. You have to lean way down to pick ladder out of water. I was hoping for much better for a ladder this expensive.
