Aeris Chair (Black)
I have been using APOL chairs for 4 years now, finally got a chance to switch to the Aeris Chair. Had my chance with other brands so this comparison is relatively fair for this specific chair.
1. The rollers are great -does not catch itself not does it move away too easily, feels like it goes where I want it. Amazing wheels. No complaints
2. Adjustable lumbar feels intentional and not like a second thought - I understand most people would have their own take on lumbar and how it should feel for their back and most gaming chairs or chairs within this range supplies lumbar support like a "needed" feature without a thought given to it. The additional plastic that rests behind the mesh gives a firm push with no discomfort especially with it being adjustable gives the chair a personal touch. Without the additional bells and whistles (thank God) of adjusting the height and width or other lumbar configurations, the simple and elegant-looking support serves well, definitely better than lugging a pillow behind your back (yes, I'm talking about the Behemoth).
*additional comment, I really wished the headrest could extend out more especially since it provides such a strong and firm support when leaning back - huge fan of this feature, hope there's more adjustability for this one!
3. The leg extension is a fantastic touch - initially I was very skeptical with the build integrity for the rest since I am a built guy. I was worried the weight of my legs may start bending the plastic support but so far, chef's kisses. The simple deployment function of the leg rest is so intuitive and easily accessed. Well thought out!
4. Arm rests - Again, the adjustable function doesn't overdo itself, it gives enough to make the feel like mine. Bonus points here, because I am a guitar player, I love having the option to completely move the arm rest out of the way, definitely makes this chair suitable for gamers, musicians, working from home or just relaxing.
5. Just one major complaint. Every time I lean back, it seems to catch unto something and it takes a second to return back up with a loud click. This is a no-go for a chair at this price point. Initially I thought it was my weight but I got my friends of all different shapes and sizes to try it and it gives the same effect.
Generally, barring the one flag, the feel of the chair gives off a premium vibe without overdoing itself. Definitely a fan of APOL and always expect premium products from them. Really love their service as well, fast, responsive and quick to service. I'll give it a 4.2 out of 5. I would say definitely a huge step up and worth a try!

Aeris
bought this during the recent IT show. there are so many other brands out there. what draws me to Apol is the friendly staff that assisted me during the show.
tried the chairs and the Aeris feels good. delivery was prompt and much faster than promised as well.
