Elite Electronic Lock and Vault Link

The original 4 number lock proved difficult to operate without my readig glasses on so an upgrade was required. Watched the video for the Elite Lock and Vault Link and knew that was the answer. Installation was simple enough. Programming the code was also easy. The instructions provided along with the video were excellent. The system works as described, unlocking when the truck was running and locking when not. Very pleased with the whole system.

Works with Gen3 Tacoma Vault (read for specifics)

Excellent product and 100% works with my 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro Gen3 Console Vault even though it's not listed as compatible. The two USB ports in my console are both accessory/ignition switched (not always-on) so I took a chance on this physically fitting. I can confirm both the Elite Lock and VaultLink module physically fit the lid of the Gen3 Tacoma Vault and the console lid closes. I'm not sure why this isn't listed as compatible with the Gen 3 vault unless it's because not all of the console USB ports are switched, but if yours is (verify before ordering) it'll 100% work and fit. Also, I had an issue using an 8 digit code with the Elite Electronic Lock. It wouldn't take any 8 digit code I threw at it, I had to contact support to get the master reset code to reset it and try again. It'd take a 7 digit code, anything 8 digits would not unlock. Yes, I double checked multiple times...No, I didn't fat finger the same 80 digit code multiple times. I let support know, sounds like an issue with the lock supplier.

Best upgrade for your vault!!

I had the basic four barrel lock and then upgraded to this lock with vault lock. Wow. Just the lock alone is a HUGE upgrade. It’s a LOT faster to open with this lock. Then the added vault lock is the cherry on top. Works great to open the vault when the car is running and then locks when it turns off. Takes a lot of the equation out of having to retrieve something quickly while driving. Get this and you won’t regret it. Oh and I also got the light. That makes it even better.
