This painting was a fun painting to do. The colors were very brilliant amazing colors. The paints were good sometimes in paint by numbers kits the paints can be a little dogy but colors were good. I did change some colors around. I did do a little texture painting using the tip of a wide brush that edge and just going up and down like you’re making a dot, and it creates a texture on the canvas that in paintings like this, especially with the roses in the foliage it brings a little more life to them like I said the colors are very good. I did this one is part of five paintings. This is the last one of scenes that I think look like Italy my time I spent in geno Italy, so they’re kind of in a sequence again this company a relatively new company, but it’s supplying a lot of these kids come out of China so it does take a while to get here but now they have painting kits that are available that they stock here in the states I would strongly recommend getting them framed what that means is, there’s a wooden frame in back that the canvas is attached so strongly recommend having that done. It’s very expensive to go to a shop and have them attach the canvas to the wooden frame in the back so I strongly recommend that I generally order two or three paintings at a time take advantage of their buy two get one free offer and I kind of keep them in as kind of a sequence the same kind like I said before this one is to me looks like Italy so I did several paintings in a row and then I did some Halloween painting several in a row so I get them in a batch and that kind of takes care of you know you’re wanting to do these kind of paintings but yes, I highly recommend it. Highly recommend it with the purchases you do get to build up points they can you can redeem for discounts I do have the easel it’s covered with paint so you know it’s being used this easel great because it can also be put on a top a table top or on the floor. I always have a paper towel in my hand when I’m painting that if I go over a line too much if you take your finger and just wipe it very quickly and then wipe your finger off it’ll remove most of the paint so it makes a nice accent. Keep your brushes always standing upright never store the point down I use warm water to clean the brushes again don’t leave them in there too long because it will bend the point and it is very difficult to paint with a bent brush that’s pointy in the opposite direction the brushes that come in the kit are a good quality when you first starting don’t run out and buy you a $100 set of five brushes. These paint brushes are decent they do offer kit they are that you can buy and I have purchased that and I use them quite frequently but with painting kits like this use your imagination change the colors around make the painting yours. 👍

I got the 36 colours rolled version (no frame). A bit disappointed because it looked like it would have a fair bit of detail because of the complexity of the design and in the end there are big blobs of pink instead of roses and the background is a bit distorted showing a grey block instead of buildings. The buildings on the right are also a bit off. Also, there are a few colours that are the same. - Number 24 and Number 27 - are both black. They look the same when opened and they look the same when dry on the canvas. One of the them is supposed to be some very dark green but turned black. - There are also two whites that are virtually the same. I have to commend the effort of the support team. One of the colours was incorrect and they promptly sent the correct one. Unfortunately, the correct colour was a white and it was impossible to cover the yellow that they had sent originally and I had already painted before I noticed the colour was incorrect.
