Worth it, great rigging gloves!
So I started off with a large pair just for me. I was so impressed with these gloves I decided it was important to provide the same solid hand protection to those who are helping me with extractions – so I purchased the M and XL sizes to cover all the possibilities.
Yes, they're not cheap. But I've suffered various hand injuries in the theater world doing rigging with heavy gear and lift ropes, and I'm so done with that. These gloves are the real deal – durable rigging gloves that will absolutely stand up to the worst that will come your way in doing vehicle extractions and more.
Be sure to treat them with some kind of quality glove balm/oil/wax combo, and there is little doubt in my mind they will last a lifetime of hard use. OTOH, you could get cheaper gloves that probably won't offer the same protection that you'll have to replace over and over. In the end, you'll be further ahead buying these just once.

American made (and locally made here in oregon) and extremely high quality leather that looks as nice as it feels on your hands. If i could change one thing, and i may do it myself, is to add grommets to the holes
