We've gone the full gambit of tires, this one is tried and true. I can ride a wheely for some time on these and it grips like it should. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Great front tire

The Hellkat is an excellent tire in loose terrain. It’s a bit too slow rolling to make sense as a rear tire, and Kenda’s rubber compound doesn’t grip quite as well as the competitors in slick conditions. But for the right terrain and intended use this an elite tire. If you live in a dry climate with prevalent loose and loose-over-hard (Cali, Northern Utah, Colorado, etc) and want a front tire that grips incredibly well for its weight, this is the tire you’re looking for.

Perfect front tire for all riding conditions. Rocks, logs, mud and off camber climbs. Excellent grip!
