About 1/3 of the capsules leaked no matter what I did. I think its best to apply them at 4-1/2 ft rather than down at the root flare. A lot of plastic and gaskets for a simple procedure. IF local tree service will do this for same or less? Typical cost is $155 for a mature tree here. It took about an hour of planning and work.

It works!

This is my second time using Snipper. For me, it eliminates about 80-85% of the sweet gum balls.
