Very happy with the performance and flexibility of this relatively inexpensive EQ, very quiet, and easy to set up and use.

A music-tinkerer's delight with so many great control options!

I bought this for use with my standard home-audio setup, so I had to buy some 1/4 to RCA cables. I love to tinker with my music, so finding a 31-band equalizer (20Hz to 20kHz) made me very happy! The control options are GREAT (input level, low-pass filter, high-pass filter, etc), and the level lights are great feedback to keep tabs on any potential distortion/clipping (plus they look nice). Also has a great signal-to-noise ratio; much better than other EQ's I have had in the past. Since there are so many sliders, there's not much range to make adjustments on each slider, but I don't know how you would get around this outside of making one whole unit for each channel (with longer sliders for each of the 31 bands). I like this unit so much, however, that I would certainly buy two of these (one for each channel) if that were an option! The dedicated subwoofer output with its own crossover filter is a great touch, but I have not used that feature yet. It feels very sturdy and well-built, and it's very easy to remove the rack mounts if you just want to use it in your stereo setup like I am. Thank you, Rockville!
