Very pleasing green tea

This tea has a strong vegetal flavor that is nonetheless sweet. I really enjoy this in the afternoon.

An excellent, acquired tatse

While I will say I wasn't extremely fond of this tea upon first sip (I'm somewhat new to more exotic green tea flavors), I can say that over the course of my 2 oz tin, it slowly became perhaps my favorite green tea I've ever tasted. It's extremely vegetal, with a strong asparagus flavor, but also surprisingly sweet once you've become acclimated to it. The nose is similar, but with a somewhat smokey note to it. The flavors are so instantly recognizable, and it takes little effort to differentiate it from "just a standard green tea flavor." It also brews almost completely clear, with little color, which is unique for me. It was quite a journey! So it definitely is an acquired taste, but the destination was worth the journey! If you decide to splurge on a high end green and like to explore, I recommend it.
