The tent is awesome with one headache causing issue.
The tent is awesome! It’s everything we wanted and more at half the price of other companies selling the exact same tent with less features. The only negative I have is when trying to put the tent away, the fabric it incredibly hard to get back in so the rubber seal can seal against the metal frame. It takes two of us constantly stuffing and closing and opening and stuffing and closing and stuffing and we still can’t get it 100% inside. I’ve done all the tricks, used the bungie, left windows open to allow air out, stuffed from all sides and still the fabrics wants to be outside of the seal. Maybe over time we’ll figure out a better way but for now, putting it away is kind of a headache.

I think the tent is awsome. I went camping for 2 nites in it at potato patch campground. Chico,Ca. Going out again this weekend in Lassen National Park. I have 3 things that i think would be nice addition. 1 removable tablet pocket. 2 white colored clam shell (it gets hot inside closed clamshell) or a roof vent. 3 shoe bag holder track would be nice on 3 sides not just the back. I enter from the side mostly. Or can you send 2 more track so i can install myself? Also it would cool to have color options. I think a green polaris plus would look awsome.Other then that i think its an awsome tent. Excited to use it more. Thank you for a great product.

Still solid after taking a tumble
I purchased my tent in March and it has had an eventful life in the months since it was purchased. I have unintentionally put it through the wringer durability wise which I will get to. First off though, the crate that the tent came is was solid and Shockingly well built. After uncrating I was shocked at the quality and the deep value that this tent is. The materials appear to be as good as the other "Nest" rooftop tents. Seams and zippers are all straight and well finished. Built in LEDs and power station are nice touches. All the hardware on my unit were tight and secure with thread locking compound. The alluminum extrusion that make the shell of the tent were well sealed with urethane of silicone. The top and bottom aluminum sheet is very thin and I did have some dimples after a hail storm encounter. Durability: My bed rack on my truck had a structural failure where a weld broke while I was in a turnaround in town. I heard a pop and noticed movement in my rearview mirror. I watched as the rack, recovery gear and this tent roll off the side of my truck (about 6ft) and into the road at about 20mph. The tent was mostly undamaged despite the impact other than road rash on the frame and gas struts and a small tear in the bottom panel from hitting a part of the collapsed rack. That was a month ago. Last week I took it out again in what turned out to be some of the worst rain in months and everything inside remained dry, which is amazing since it took a hard impact to the side of the frame. Well made product, I do suggest considering this option.
