And it has finally been released by Warner Archive with great refinement: a 4k restoration of the original camera negative, a rarity for RKO films, whose collection has been quite mistreated over time. The result is a pristine, meticulously restored image that makes it seem like I'm watching the film for the first time, even though I've done so countless times.
