Soles of these boots lasted approximately 3 months, no chance these last 5000 miles. The warranty is effectively useless since the warranty department is the final decision on what type of solution is provided.
The shoes are as bad as the warranty and the tactics used by Xero with customers.
Having to pay another $100 for nondurable hiking boots is crazy.

This isn't a long-term review but initial impressions are very good. They're light and comfortable but I would definitely buy the insert for the shoe. I decided to buy a set just to be sure and I'm glad I did. The inserts fit perfectly and add a bit more comfort. If they start falling apart I'll update but they do feel very well built.

Super shoes, finally an affordable ergonomic hiking boot that looks good. Mesh on the outside wears quite quickly, but don't seem to affect anything besides the look. Function is still great
