Smart Speaker Killer

Bought to replace a dead smart speaker in my bedroom. I needed a small footprint, and my interest in smart capability is gone. I have a Tivoli Model One BT that has been a favorite for years, so I decided to give the Boutique a shot. It does not disappoint. Very easy to pair with, handy charging for my phone, and sound that vastly exceeds my expectations. Small smart speakers cannot compare to the Boutique's performance. A four inch cube that sounds like my classic Acoustic Research speakers. I was initially concerned that the controls were on the back of the unit, but they don't need to be accessed in everyday use. The blue pairing LED is a little bright in a dark room, but goes into an amber mode when not in use. It provides a subtle night light on my dresser, so I haven't felt compelled to cover it. The Walnut and Gold looks stylish with my antique furniture. In this age of AI and surveillance, the Boutique is a refreshing companion that stresses sound quality and visual appeal over unnecessary privacy comprising smart features.

Room-filling sound

This small speaker sits in a corner of our dining room, which it has no difficulty filling with high-fidelity audio goodness. It’s easy to connect to and we never have to worry about batteries running out. Its charging ports are a convenient way to keep a streaming smartphone running as well. All in all a marvelous device.

Best piece of tech in the house.

This little speaker has so much win for my day-to-day audio needs. Syncing it to 2x work computers for the richest sound going for calls and music listening purposes. Where have you been all my life, little cube?!?
