ORIGIN® CORE T-SHIRT

Great tee shirt!

Perfect fit and quality! Im slowly but surely replacing several tees with Origins core tees. Regarding the sizing, I almost always wear XXL size in everything (hoodies, shirts, tees etc.). For the core tees however, XL fits perfectly for me.

Excellent Boots and Gi, Disappointing T-Shirts

This review is specifically about Origin's T-shirts, not the company as a whole. I own one of Origin's BJJ gis, and it's outstanding. I also own a pair of their boots, which are honestly some of the best boots I've ever worn. Because of those experiences, I had high expectations for their T-shirts. Unfortunately, they were a major disappointment. For a shirt that costs around $35–40 (on sale now), I expected premium quality. Instead, the shirts started fading after only about the third wash, shrank noticeably, and the fabric feels comparable to a basic budget T-shirt. At this price, that's simply not acceptable. I don't mind paying premium prices when the quality matches the cost. In fact, I've purchased premium shirts from other brands that cost more and have held up exceptionally well. These didn't. I have a lot of respect for Jocko and what Origin stands for, which is why this review is disappointing for me to write. But I believe customers deserve honest feedback. Origin clearly knows how to make outstanding gear—their gis and boots prove that. Their T-shirts, however, don't live up to the same standard. I hope they improve the quality because I'd gladly buy them again if they did. As they are today, I can't recommend them.

Epic t-shirt

Perfect thickness, perfect size. Collar doesn't choke me out like most t-shirts and the arm holes are sized right so the shirt doesn't cling. Also long enough to go over belt line but not so long that it looks like a dress. Absolutely buying more of these as other shirts wear out.
