Steal Your Tape

I love this design. A great tribute to the tapers back in the day. I normally wear large but bought an XL. Glad I did.

I absolutely LOVE this shirt and everything it represents as far as giving out respect and gratitude to all the different Tapers for so many years. It's impossible to get any kind of recording gear in, like having to sneak in gear at Jerry's shows. I don't know why or when Jerry said no Tapers but in the late 80's til about 92 for me, security was still pretty lax, and I went from a Sony D-6 tape recorder which I could plug into friends with DAT'S and nice microphones too, and at Dead shows where I could leave it with my friend and 4 tapes and I'd see like 5 DAT'S all plugged into my buddy's set up, and then my little D-6 at the end, or Tim Hovey, I remember that name, ask Hovey, ask Hovey to turn up Bobby, or to plug in the board with. I just love this shirt and the hat, and the Tapers only shirt, and also, Franny, dear sweet Franny and the kindness of adding a whole bunch of extra goodies in a hand colored box she colored, is just so very cool.
