Shop Thread Gauge

This is another very nice piece of equipment from Shop Nation. It's well designed and beautifully put together. If it wasn't so functional as a shop item...I might hang it on the wall in the living room (with my wife's permission of course). Well done and thanks for all your great products. Overall, I feel this is great quality and should last a lifetime. It's threaded metal, not much to go wrong. I believe it's anodized and feels like it will not flake without being massively abused. The ONLY thing I can gripe about, and this is very minor and grasping at straws, is if you're expecting to use the rubber feet that come with this part, they're not held on very securely. A single screw is threaded through the rubber, which does not have any metal embedded within, thus when tightened pulls straight through. If you do not tighten the screws, the feet remain loose and may fall off. This is a moot point if you opt to mount this instead.

Well made and more robust than I expected. It seems accurate and I’ve used it several times so far to identify screw sizes and thread pitch. I’m very impressed.
