Awesome poles

Love these poles. The weighting is perfect - perhaps because of the carbon top and aluminum bottom. Of course the adjustment and grips are great, especially when bouncing between inbounds and back/side country. I also like the easy on/off of baskets which makes packong in my sport tube a breeze. Poles aside, 4FRNT warrantee is great.

Okay ski poles

The poles are light, and that is a good thing. I do not like the shape of the grips for my style of skiing because they are a little hard to hold in dynamic situations. I do like the extended grip down the pole for hiking bowls. The rubber on top of one grip started pealing on the first day. I do appreciate how easily I can adjust the height of the poles.
