Fantastic film
Great transfer, great story, it has Humphrey Bogart and it's a noir. Doesn't get better than that. Maybe a little less known Noir, however it's worth watching.

Bogart Playing Afield from His Star Persona
Engrossing 1945 noir givers Humphrey Bogart a chance to move into less heroic territory after his iconic work as Rick Blaine. Crafty crime drama also allows Alexis Smith and Sydney Greenstreet opportunities to shine at their onscreen peaks, with a prime print from Warner Archives allowing viewers to catch the movie and its chief criminal in an optimal presentation.
