The XP-280 backpack is very well built. Will hold everything you will ever need on a trip metal detecting and still have extra spaces available. It is very comfortable to wear. The only negatives are that it is a little heavier than I expected and for the Manticore to fit easier it could be 1"-2" wider.

This is a really well thought out and nicely executed backpack (and storage bag). Cost and weight (just over 5lbs) are what I like least about it - but those are tradeoffs for increased durability, function, and convenience.
