Chyavanprash

I love this chyavanprash and have had it for a few years. This particular batch (1426-2) is not the same :( it is more runny in consistency and tastes more of ghee, not like thick consistence and alma flavor I have gotten used to with previous bottles. It feels like something went wrong with this batch and I def do not feel like having it.

This is a lovely jam. I was unfamiliar with this traditional product until I purchased it from Banyan Botanicals. I add it to coffee daily or on occasion. As others mention, the texture is indeed tricky to navigate -- so make it an opportunity to move slowly, and be patient with this special herbal jam. I have ordered this 4-5 times, the consistency us usually the same -- it's a little tricky to separate but becomes workable once it warms up in coffee or tea. Just once I experienced a jar that it was extra challenging and seemed to be completely unruly + unwilling to release from the jar and be transported on a knife elsewhere.
