Preforms as expected
Strikes first time, everytime if you do it properly, so that is great. The only major down side is the clip, it is do weak and flimsy that you cannot trust it all and losing ignite would be an expensive mistake.

Great piece of essential fire starting kit!
Fantastic set of Ferro rod and kit for fire starting. Throws sparks for miles! Love how the rod is protected from the elements in an attractive (burnt) orange tube. Also bought a replacement rod. Love being able to simply replace the Ferro rod once it's too worn
