More of a guide than a planner

I’m truly a planner girlie. If I lost my main planner I wouldn’t know where I need to be ever. So I was really expecting this to be similar to some of the higher quality planner companies, but it’s really I think more of an entry level guide. The pages are not very thick and the organization is a little lacking and there is no calendar. I absolutely loved this planner for the timelines, prompts, and suggestions. And this is why I say it’s more of a guide. It did make me think about a lot of things I would’ve overlooked in wedding planning and the suggestions on timing are great to have when you’re first starting out so you don’t feel like you have to do everything at once. This planner also is meant to encompass every wedding possibility in a traditional wedding, so I think if you’re having a huge traditional wedding it’s a perfect fit. But for us having a smaller destination wedding some of the sections we didn’t use at all and some just didn’t fit what we needed and there wasn’t enough space to customize certain aspects of the wedding like the ceremony and the music. I used this in tandem with my main planner. I used the guides that applied to our wedding and then I put reminders in my everyday planner. I still really recommend this planner for newly engaged couples, but I just think it doesn’t really work as a true planner it’s more of a guide.

Really love this planner! It came with a corner dented, which is unfortunate but it happens. Overall love the different layouts and it makes a lot of sense to me. I would LOVE a guest list page to start to brainstorm who to invite, and a general “brainstorming” section, such as a place to dream of what what we want- intimate or huge? What time of year? Destination or local? Stuff like that. Also would love if the budget section had a couple blank cells under each category, as I would love to add some items under “florals” and not have them be on a separate page. I would also love if the bachelorette party section had some more planning pages, since im having a slightly unorthodox bachelorette party. Otherwise this is far more comprehensive than any of of the other wedding planners I’ve looked at and it’s BEAUTIFUL! If you made gender neutral versions I would have more people to gift these to :)

Nothing! It was great. I gave it to my daughter at an engagement brunch.
