Description
This early Sungold type wax bean produces excellent yields of 6" deep yellow, round pods. Rocdor wax beans are recommended for roadside and fresh market, it carries resistance to BCMV and Anthracnose. Pick young for the yellow filet market....

Bean Rocdor Seeds
For the past three years, the Rocdor bean seeds provided have been disappointing. Most importantly, the seeds are sold as producing bush type plants but have required adding wires/string/poles to support the plants as their growth is more similar to a pole bean than a bus bean. The plants produce only one or two good bean sets over the summer with the rest of the sets being shriveled and hollow. Even with the good bean sets, the beans tend to be tough and stringy lately. In prior years, the beans were more tender. I need to find a different provider or different bush style yellow beans for next season.

They would have been really good.
I've grown these before and they are really good. Unfortunately, this year the groundhog got them before I did.
