The Dozen (12)

I. Thought that i ordered 12 Texas birthday cakes but i got 12 different flavored cookies but they werr all excellen TY. I ordered the birthday c a kes because my grandaughter loves them because they taste like brownies which are my favs also. Next order will be 12 texas birthday cakes for sure.

I wanted to like these so much. I wanted support this family owned business and have heard great things. I ordered the sampler box. Of the 12 I liked only one. The snickerdoodle. The cookies were crumbly and sort of undone in the middle at the same time. Not in a good way. I feel like if they made a normal sized cookie maybe they would be better. We did try heating them in the microwave but that didn’t help. They just fell apart more.

Cookies are all delicious! As we work through each flavor, we don't have a favorite yet, but I just ate the key lime coconut, wow! I only had half to avoid a sugar coma. This cookie venture has been quite a tasty, fun journey! Thank you!! FYI - We were notified by Keksi and UPS of the delivery and were particularly concerned about the cookies arriving during a heatwave here in the East. Our issue is with the UPS delivery. Our dozen Keksi cookies were delivered at 2:00 in the afternoon, 100+ degrees, and left in direct sun on the mailbox post though we have a covered front porch. Fortunately, someone alerted me the UPS truck had just turned into our small neighborhood, so I was able to retrieve the box quickly and avoid a disastrous mess. I need to pray for these hardworking delivery folks. It was blistering hot and countless deliveries just two days before America celebrated her 250th birthday . . . BUT COME ON?!?!?! THESE WERE MY KEKSI COOKIES!!!!!!!!!!
