Beautiful roses in the pattern

I like the roses that was the reason I bought this pattern.

First jumper, haven't had a break down yet! /pos

I'm a pretty recent beginner (started knitting in September, learned crochet last year), and was looking for a project that will be challenging for me but doable. I'm about 1/3rd of the way through currently and have found the instructions so far concise but quite clear, and and very pleased with the jumper so far. I've been a little confused by some elements, particularly about the different needles needed for the sleeves (3.75 mm DPNs, but then circular needles again once you've finished the ribbing, when the work is the same circumference, so you need to do a magic loop of some description no matter how you slice it, why not just use the circular needles throughout? Or indeed, DPNs throughout?) But that could well just be my ignorance on the topic! Either way, the sleeves are coming together more or less, and I love the colourwork motifs
