not as loud as expected

i was researching alot on the internet and ran across a place that said iso tunes was louder then clip 4 and tribit storm box and that is what sold me. iso tunes has good battery life has a durable speaker not cheep paper and minus the bass does have good sound quality. but i work in a loud steel factory and i need volume to be able to hear the music over the machines and ear plugs. i used bluetooth on computer for all 3 speakers and the iso had lowest volume with clip 44 in the middle and the tribit storm box at the loudest. tribit stormbox has great battery life after a year still 10 hr run time but it has cheep paper speaker that cracked and got very distored. clip was good sound but after 1 year battery life was 2 1/2 hours. i ended up buying clip 5 that i use with mp3 player (no internet) and it is louder then clip 4 but battery life is only 4 to 5 hrs at max volume. so i charge clip 4 and listen to clip 5 when it dies i switch so i just keep using the 2 with good speakers. if i would have known that the iso speaker was quieter then the other 2 i would have never bought it but it is a great product in an environment with less noise

Sounds great. Battery at max level gave me around 8hrs of playtime. Phone quality is great but would be better if it said who was calling. Food for thought IsoTunes.

Love this thing if you have it on high still lasts most of the work day not12 but maybe8-10 on max I usually just have it around as a back up but its come in vary handy as a flashlight the magnetic clip is absolutely a wonderful idea
