Apex Vacuum Backpack

First, it's a pretty nice backpack. Generally, the quality looks to be good and after a couple of trips with it, no major quality issues. Here are my observations: 1. Velcro is evil. First, it wears out and second, it can stick (and ruin) things it shouldn't stick to. The water bottle holder and the laptop strap are both velcro. Not a fan. 2. Pockets: Yes, there are lots of them. Unfortunately, about 60% of them are pretty useless due to the size or the "tightness" of the pocket. Many are too small for anything useful. Pocket count means little if they're not useful. 3. Zippers. In general, they're fine. ONe zipper (for the largest compartment) is a bit sticky going around the top corner. My main concern is how durable they're going to be in the long term. 4. The front pocket is "floppy". My previous pack had it open to the side so that it wouldn't flop down. This was a more useful design. Now, I often open it up wide enough to access things and it flops down and if anything is lose it falls out. 5. No carryon handle strap. I liked being able to slide my previous pack over the carryon handle. Can't do that with this pack. It's physical dimensions are pretty similar to my previous pack, it's actually much more spacious. In general I like it. Time will tell if the issues I've described will be enough to get me to switch to something different.
