Heritage Cycling Backpack

Great bag, well made, few weird design choices

I got this on sale for less than half price, and for what I paid for it I cannot fault it. Really well made, materials are great, comfortable, the key clip inside is a great touch. A few odd design elements have led to me to rate it 4 instead of 5. Not issues that bother me when it is 40-50% off, but at full price, probably would. It sits weirdly high up on your back, which is an odd feeling especially when cycling. If you just make the straps longer, it feels too loose and the chest strap goes up to your chin! The depth of the bag tapers in at the bottom, it doesn't have a flat base, this limits the usable space and pushes the weight further up too. The back is just flat with no padding or ventilation. And the clips for both the roll top and the chest strap are fiddly - but pretty secure. Still makes a great backpack for a light commuter or errand running.
