Travel size & refillable
Great sample pack for those on the fence about what to try and not that expensive to where you’d break the bank either. These products have definitely made a difference in being able to get my skin back on track although it’s still a work in progress as healing is on a whole playing field of its own. In addition, trying to find the right combo takes time but at least I know I’m doing it with products that don’t contain all the junk you find in so many products in dept stores nowadays that I’m so allergic to.
I was at my whits end a month ago and didn’t know where to turn or who would just listen to help me out and I was literally driving my husband crazy, going in circles, forgetting basic steps on how to do my own hair and let’s not talk about the courage needed still to this day to just wash my own hair w/o having a flare up and then to top it off dept store personnel couldn’t help no matter their suggestions— everything was either bad for my skin, contained parabens, silicones, sulfates, heavy protein, argan oil, and literally a list of ingredients I couldn’t nor dare put in my hair or have it touch my scalp or neck that would not cause contact dermatitis— it was anerving at best and again, I knew I wasn’t crazy just no one would listen….no one. Until one afternoon/early evening, as I always have done is google products after products and ingredients after ingredients, comparing everything and asking google more questions than a normal person would ask in a day, what about this or what if this or what’s this ingredient and the list is so extensive I could fill a book, that I came across a potential holy grail, but still asked google my questions and since trying out what seemed to be every shampoo and conditioner and leave-in and curl cream known to man that I could potentially tolerate I told myself what do you have to loose and take that step away from known brands and give this a try, and if it doesn’t work at least you can say you tried. Right? I took that leap and again, grateful for the travel sizes (shampoo and conditioner are refillable including the face wash ;) without wasting more plastic just reuse the containers you already bought in this pack as they have built in labels—win win). I couldn’t wait till the products came in the mail as I was holding off on my wash day till they arrived and was giddy with excitement until I got them from the post office (products come this way). I couldn’t wait to open the box and smell them to see if I could get through the smell and if my head would tolerate them — drumroll, and I think it might just work; love, love the smell— in a very good way. And, then for the shower which I dreaded on doing as again I have anxiety about doing such a daily task that many find simple, it’s not the case here. Anyways, the shampoo doesn’t suds much but emulsifying it between your hands and adding water to it— success! Love the conditioner and it’s very creamy consistency it’s a plus for me. And, after the shower I was thrilled the process was over but told myself I can do this and as it dried my neck wasn’t irritated and I couldn’t believe I found something oh, let’s not forget how these products make my hair feel—- so incredibly SOFT!!!! After about a month now, I’m going to purchase the larger size so I can have it on hand, more cost effective and refill time just in time for a trip.
