Model-X 2.0 Stand

It looks just like the photo and it works well, but if your computer is large or heavy be wary that you have the stand extended correctly or it will tip over right away. It’s also really hard to open and put back together. I have to use a lot of strength in order to get the stand to collapse. I think you can adjust it with the wrench they give you, but the instructions aren’t the best imo, so I’m confused as to how it works. The photos on the instructions don’t make sense to me, but I eventually figured out how to open the stand up. I like that it’s light weight, my backpack is pretty heavy already so it’s good that it didn’t add to it. It does take up a big of room tho. It’s not thin enough to just slip inside easily, you will need to play some Tetris to get it in if you also have things like cords, keyboard, mouse, etc. And since it’s made of metal, you want to be careful it doesn’t crush or smash into delicate hardware like your laptop. Personally I wouldn’t pack it together with my laptop unless I absolutely have to. Out of all the stands I’ve had, this is probably one of the top 3 I’ve seen, but in terms of price it’s the most expensive one compared to literally anything else I’ve had .

Super impressed with the Model‑X 2.0. The build quality is excellent; it’s very sturdy, and even the packaging and pouch feel premium. The versatility is a huge plus.

I have used other lap top stands and this solves the problem they all have. It is compact but expands for maximum flexibility in height, angle, and holds the laptop securely. I wish it came in a better protective pouch (zippered).
