Always have great luck with buckwheat. I'm using it now to help regenerate soil on some clay-gravel areas formerly used as parking areas and driveway edges. After spreading hay on the clay-gravel, I sowed the buckwheat into the hay, then watered it well. I've also used it many times as a cover crop, and as a benefit for pollinators.

The bees loved them.
The bees did love them as stated. You really need lots of sunlight. My property has partial sunlight. But loved the plant. Also, buckwheat as stated does improve the soil, you see the nozzles attached to the roots. I will plant buckwheat every year.
