Haven't had the opportunity to have a fire going, but appears to be a good, solid, well made combination (Weathershield and StormShield). Roof is fairly low pitch and air cooled pipe about 6' above. Easy enough install. I'd recommend the tiedowns or make your own. I wasn't sure if I'd need the StormShield, but after installating the Weathershield I was looking it over. It's way up there (above the ground) and we're coastal. So I decided rather than do it in snow and ice, now's the time. Oh, I picked up a couple of extra wing nuts and put them on the bolts after the nuts on the hold downs. Because I'm sure somebody is going to loose one and appreciate the spares up there someday. Probably me...
