Best Way to do nail maintenance for you AND your dog!

I've tried so many ways to trim my dog's nails over the years. Clippers, files, dremels, teaching the pooch to scratch on a board covered with sandpaper.... I wish I'd locked onto this set up many dogs ago. The cinch straps make it very easy to adjust the height and the harness is well made and comfortable for the dog. It makes what used to be a difficult job I didn't look forward to into something that has no stress with great results.

At last we can home-trim our loveable maniac's nails!

Our first experience using the Doggie Lift was superb. There is no learning curve with this well-designed product. We did not require the special steel bar as we have an exposed steel beam in our basement. The suspension straps and harness worked smoothly and easily. Mabel's nails were accessible at all times and she was safe and so were we. Thanks to her being securely and comfortably suspended, my husband and I were able to do the job well and quickly---in spite of Mabel's wriggling. We wanted to send a photo or some video but we were both too involved in the task to do that. Mabel is a high anxiety girl. You can picture the scene I'm sure. Depending upon the dog, I would say nail trimming is generally a job for two humans. Our other dog (also forty pounds, like Mabel) is a peaceful lamb who does not need the Doggie Lift for her nail trims. We can just do her nails as she lies quietly in her bed. The Doggie Lift is perfect for Mabel's needs, in its engineering and its ease of use. The Doggie Lift is an excellent product. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any individual wanting do home nail trims for their dog. I would also say that this device will pay for itself very quickly by eliminating the cost and the stress, to dog and human, of going to a professional every few weeks.
