Rhinokey® Smart

Sadly Very Disappointing

I had been using a “KeySmart Version” of this product. The packaging was useful but aside from that I am very disappointed!! The plastic felt very cheap and 3D printed, felt like a kickstarter not a premium product. But getting past that, within 1 day of switching from KeySmart to RhinoKey I found it much more difficult to use my keys (using it the exact same way as my other older product) and my Key ended up snapping omfully and leaving me locked out of my apartment needing to get a locksmith to gain access. Very disappointing!! Will be moving back to my KeySmart Version unfortunately, and contacting the team about sending this back for a refund.

No real tracking

The product uses only Chipolo app for tracking, which makes the tracking feature useless. If it is out of my phone's reach, the app shows only the last known place. Other Rhino products use Apple Find (or similar Google service), so I don't understand why Chipolo was selected for this. Mechanically the product is ok. Since I have to use Airtag (or similar) if I want tracking, normal Rhinokey is the same - or maybe even better, because it looks like little bigger.

I have 3 of theys key holders and the rhino cards but their set ups are not same apps. Would think it be same app sent its sold by them same company.I do like the iteam but be better not have to use 2 apps..
