Very simple to install works exactly as expected. Customer service was fantastic, and very responsive. One thing to note is the valve controller is only active when car is turned on normally. If you try to use remote start (via app or fob), the valve controller is not active, it will only remain in whatever setting you had it last.

Easy install and, in conjunction with IRL nonresonated midpipe, upped the volume of exhaust to a deep tone better than I had expected. With switch in off position, car is about as quiet as can be.

Best use of $240 ever!

I bought the full catback v2 exhaust from IRL which included a v2 valve controller. I have yet to install the exhaust since I am waiting on availability at the shop but I did install the valve controller at home. Let me just say that it is awesome. It totally wakes up the car in every sense. Cold starts are deeper, pulls are louder throughout the rpm spectrum, shifts are crisper, burbles are more burbley, and the car can finally breathe! Also if you ever want to use the car’s control you can click auto button on the remote and it uses the input from the car just like OEM. I can’t wait to install the rest of the exhaust and I’ll definitely add a review when I do. Considering that with just the valve controller the car is already louder than it was (already loud) I’m honestly frightened to hear the car when it’s finished (and excited). One last thing, you can sync the buttons on the home link (rear view mirror) with the remote so you can use those instead of carrying the remote in the car with you.
