Take your time... and more glue
We have been sitting for two or three hours and are almost done with assembling. The (free) glue is running out. We will resume later... what helped us: Dont only use a exacto knife but also sand paper to smooth the cuts. Use the same tape to fix boxes while drying which you sometimes find on the backside of the wooden sheets (I dont know the Englisch word, it's Malerkrepp in German).
