I bought the staff for steelhead fishing in British Columbia. As the years go by, good balance starts to fade……. it is nice to have three points of support with a sturdy wading staff on the big rivers in the north. Thank you!

Great wading stick

This Simms wading stick is my better than the previous name brand that I used. The Simms stick unfolds and folds up easy. No struggle to get the stick back together again. One button push and it comes apart. Also lightweight and strong. Very good product. I highly recommend.

Almost perfect

The staff opens up one handed which is great. The holster does it's job decently. Id prefer if the holster loop was closer to the top and that the buckle was lower in the loop. The cord was immediately removed and replaced with a gear retractor that pulls the staff to my side when I need to drop it. If it shipped with an actual retractor I'd give it 5 stars.
