I have a number of fencing score boxes I am renovating fitted with an internal 240-12 volt psu with bare contacts I have stripped out all the components and installed a 2.1 mm dc panel mount socket to power these devices from an external power supply Modernised more reliable and safe to service giving them a new lease of life The 2.1 mm socket is perfect for this project
