Parallel EL Panel 4" x 6" Rectangle - Medium

Easy out of the box, tricky to resolder

Easy to plug in the inverter and illuminate. Pretty accurate from the product pictures, though slightly dimmer on one edge than the other. I wanted two small/long rectangles, so I cut and rewired the panel. Soldering to the panel's conductors didn't work, they just melted away. I ended up using an Xacto knife to open a little pocket under the adhesive plastic backing and tucked wires under that. My application won't be jostled too much so that should work.
