Beware the high pitch whine

The light itself is okay. It's flexible and bright enough for its purpose. The biggest issue is the high pitch hum/whine the inverter makes when on. It's bad enough that it drives my dog crazy enough not to come into the room and if the light it turn on high brightness you can hear it over the TV. It seems to be a huge flaw in this plug in version of the device, to the point it's not usable. Maybe battery versions are better, but I wouldn't recommend this for any interior location or somewhere people will be nearby.
