Make Your Own EL Wire Kit

Good starter kit at a decent price.

Pretty cool, has everything I need to get started. The wire glows a little less brightly than I anticipated, but should still be good enough when I'm out under dim lighting -- provided my own planning matches reality. Doesn't appear to generate a ton of heat, which is great. The battery pack does make a very faint whine when I get very close, but it's hardly noticeable from inside a pocket or when there's any amount of ambient noise. Someone with more acute hearing might be more bothered by it.
