Dark Mufflers

The dark mufflers start the process of the quietness of a Mountain Muffler String. They are durable and work. Mountain Muffler bowstrings did make my recurve bow more enjoyable to shoot because of how quiet it shoots. It is a high quality crafted bowstring.

I ordered a Mercury 2 bowstring with the dark muffler and Dyna Puffs for a Great Plains Swift Long Curve. The GP is the bow I shoot the most in my stable. It is super lightweight and the poundage is low enough to keep it comfortable for shooting all day. Prior to changing the string, I had noticed that the GP had a lot of vibration and was fairly loud with the standard bowstring that I had on it but it shot totally different after throwing on the MM string I ordered. I noticed the sound dampening immediately along with less vibration/hand shock. This will be my first year giving it an honest go with trad equipment for whitetail and I have the utmost confidence in my choice of string builder. 5/5 would recommend to everyone.
