Chai Maker

Best Chai I’ve ever had!!! This pot is so user friendly, instructions are clear and thier collaboration with Diaspora Co. of thier Masala Chai Blend is perfect. I bought the pot with the silicone strainer ans its also easy to clean. My daughter and make it 2x a day.

In short: It’s convenient but still requires some effort to get right. In detail: I think the stainless steel tea strainer is the better option. The silicone one doesn’t do the waterfall step as well. I use it on a gas stove on medium-high heat. Even on the company’s Instagram, you may catch this on closer inspection. Overall, the flavor of the chai is okay, and I have even tried different tea leaves (including houjicha) that have good results. It’s also way easier to clean than a regular pot. Tip: Use a bamboo whisk to break down powders or sweeteners in a 1/4 cup of milk or water in the pot. Then, follow the usual steps. I find this more convenient for flavoring tea than waiting for the pot to cool and removing the strainer.

Love my Loka. Its easy to use and clean. Love that it that i can set it and walk away to do other things. Great idea !
