MR MESMERIC

Not really for me.

I've given this about a week of wear, so I believe I can somewhat make definitive conclusions about it at least for me. Purchased it because the main notes of whiskey, tobacco, and vanilla appealed to me. Upon first sniff, it smelled like a bag of uncooked rice, which I assume to be the nutmeg. The nutmeg note goes away after about an hour, and the earthiness of the leather and patchouli notes seem to come through. I can only faintly smell the tobacco notes maybe about 2 hours into the drydown as well. I know it was supposed to be designed with soft to medium projection, but from initial spray to drydown, I have to stick my nose onto my skin to smell anything. I move my nose 30 cm away, and I will be unable to smell it. However, longevity itself is very good. When sprayed on clothes, I can still smell it well after 12 hours. I will have to say that this release just wasn't for me.

Amazing release

I received my bottle of Mr. Mesmeric and, to put it bluntly, I am BLOWN away. So nice and so easy to wear. It is present, but not overbearing. This is a true masterpiece. Possibly my favorite of all your releases, but I have enjoyed them all. Thank you Omar for your creative and thoughtful creation. I am looking forward to the next one.

5 stars for execution and creativity

I'll be honest this is my least favorite in the Atrium line. All of the fragrances are great and have a unique spin. This is no different. All I pick up on this is a funky sweaty leather, burnt tobacco, with a dash of nutmeg. I usually love these notes and I have several fragrances with these notes. However, this one just doesn't work for me. I am happy to have this in my collection because I am a collector and wear fragrances every day. I love the risks being taken here which makes me give it a 10 out of 10, 5 stars, or whatever. I hate ratings. Art is too subjective.
