More functional than expected

It works! I was pleasantly surprised how much smoother I could get the job done. I mostly purchased it as I am doing multiple pairs of racing skis, and other family members skis in one session. But I quickly realized even for a one pair a session this is way easier and worth it. Well built and beefy unit.

Great addition to the IR waxer

Makes the task of ski waxing effortless and delivers phenomonal results. We tune several pairs of skis daily throughout the season and have enjoyed the ease of use of the IR waxer and the efficiency that it has provided and now continues to get better with the addition of the IR Guide.

Makes waxing quick and easy!

I recently received the IR Waxing Guide. First impression is that this is solidly built, heavier than expected, and easy to assemble. Once setup, it made the process of waxing multiple skis exponentially easier. Being able to set the height a few inches over the ski base and just slide the waxer back and forth makes for precise heating with little effort. The only downside is that it is a large (6 foot long) system and doesn’t break down easily for storage, so having a place to store fully assembled may be a challenge. Very happy with this purchase.
