The cradles are light weight and can be placed anywhere on the rack. Very convenient and flexible. I don't use them quite as much as the rack with the top cradle and the steering bar cradle but it is great to have extra cargo space when I need it.

Sturdy and light
Perfect for my backpacking road and off road adventures. The rack system is light, sturdy and easy to install. Combined with the my packs, both side mounted and top mounted, they carry 60%+ of my total load. Very pleased.
