amazing shoes, just not for walking

I really wanted to love these shoes. And I did! I loved everything about them. They are made well and have a great look to them. However, I was dismayed that there was no stretch from the side straps so that when I took a step I felt a tug at my ankle and that did not feel right. Because the sole is a solid piece of wood something has to give with every step and I felt very concerned that the straps on the side of the shoe would give at some point from the stress of taking a step. So as much as I loved the shoes I did not feel comfortable walking in them.

I adore these shoes. I just love rocking Charlotte Stone designs. This is my second purchase and they did not disappoint.

Stompers

Because of the shape of the heel, these a a bit difficult to walk naturally in, you kind of need to stomp. If the heel came straight down or had the bottom edge angled, it would be easier to walk normally
